I understand that the Butler Inn will not be running karaoke. They used to have Tuesday and Saturday. I will keep you posted if they decide to pick it up again. Thanks for the tip, Gee!

TGI Friday's in Brookfield  (17430 W. Bluemound Rd, Brookfield (262) 641-9215) is apparently now running karaoke on Thursday nights with DJ Bob of Soundsational DJs, and on Saturday with DJ Eddie.

Ryan mentioned that the two new places in Richfield might not always be running karaoke, so please be sure to call ahead.

Milwaukee Magazine, Best karaoke of 2010

I just got the October issue of Milwaukee Magazine, which features their annual "Best of Milwaukee" guide. This year, I am very proud to say that I, John the Revelator, am listed as the best of Milwaukee. I quote the article below:

Karaoke Night
It's hard to find a hip karaoke place in Milwaukee - the few options tend to be old-fashioned and kitschy. Unless, of course, you happen to be out on a Monday night and find yourself at Bootleggers Bar & Grill (1025 N. Old World Third St.). There, you will find emcees John The Revelator and Sven as well as a catalog of over 8,500 songs. The crowd is young, the songs are hip, the sound system is booming. And if you're really good, you'll get an inflatable guitar as a parting gift.

Changes of KJ
Tuesday at Historic Red Mill, Kalani will be taking over for Kim Marie
Thursday and Friday at Roma's (East Troy) - I erroneously had Kalani as the KJ, sorry

I would like to thank all the folks who are helping me keep this up to date! Thank you Kalani and Marcus for updating your gigs. Thank you Dale of Brew City Music for letting me know where you have gigs. Thank you Ryan for pointing me to the new spots in Richfield.

Karaoke on Wednesdays at Fridays

I have added a new spot to the karaoke listings ... TGI Fridays in Greenfield (4638 S 76th) has karaoke on Wednesdays, starting at 9:30.  Shawn is the KJ. (I think this would be Shawn Everts. Not sure.)  As usual, call before you drive. (414) 281-7896.
